What is Pali LTRG Psychological First Aid Training?
The Pali LTRG Psychological First Aid program gives guidance on responding to disaster or terrorism events using the Psychological First Aid intervention. This evidence-informed approach helps to assist children, adolescents, adults, and families in the aftermath of a disaster. Psychological First Aid (PFA) is designed to reduce the initial distress caused by traumatic events and to foster short and long term adaptive functioning and coping.
Who Should Attend?
Non-profit and government disaster workers involved in the Palisades, Malibu and Altadena
Fires, as well as educators in the region who work with children affected by the fires.
