PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — Mayor Bass announced the first approvals under the Standard Plan Pilot Program created by Executive Directive 13, which offers a library of pre-approved, code-compliant single-family designs to cut permitting time and cost.
At the time more than 1,200 rebuilding plans had been approved for 600-plus addresses and 1,000-plus permits issued for roughly 515 addresses, with over 70% of single-family permit clearances eliminated.
