Home inventory
Document your home and everything in it. Turn your photos, videos and receipts into a smart home inventory list in minutes. Bevel is a home inventory tool that helps homeowners document their belongings for insurance purposes. We use AI to make the process faster and more comprehensive. Bevel is for homeowners and insurance experts, and was originally created for homeowners who have just experienced a catastrophic loss. Our priority is to speed up the claims process so you get home faster and recover all of your belongings. We do that by providing objective documentation and pricing estimates. After a major event like the Palisades and Eaton fires, insurance companies often ask their customers to create a Home Contents Inventory – an approximate list of items you think you had in your house before the event. But without access to everything, how do you remember what you had? The tool uses AI (in this case a Google large language model) to extract lists from your existing photos, videos, and receipts, and to make associations – guessing what items relate to the items you add. So if, for instance, you write that you had a "sofa" in the living room, it might suggest more related items like "lamp", "coffee table", "coaster". If you're like me, you'll remember the big items, but forget the massive numbers of smaller things in your house. How do you remember all the items in your kitchen drawers for instance? So you can use the AI to do a lot of the time-intensive work and act as a sort of memory prompt. We also tried to create a friendly and organized interface already set up for you, so that the experience is a little bit less daunting.
