Within hours of the Eaton Fire the Pasadena Community Job Center became a response hub handing out PPE, food and donations, and NDLON launched a Service Brigade of nearly 100 volunteers that cleared Pasadena parks and streets of debris. In May 2025 NDLON staff and a researcher surveyed over 1,000 cleanup workers across Altadena and found only a quarter wore gloves and a tenth wore full protective suits, driving a worker-safety campaign.
