Business support
Civic nonprofit launched February 2025. Its Small Business Initiative, seeded with $1 million from Banc of California's Wildfire Relief and Recovery Fund, awards grants up to $50,000 and had disbursed $525,000 across Altadena, Malibu, Pasadena and the Palisades by November 2025. Also partnered with the City on rebuilding the Palisades Recreation Center, donated Samara prefab homes to low- and moderate-income households, and helped fund the Archistar AI permit-review tool.
LRGrant funder
Private-sector rebuilding initiative announced January 28, 2025 and led by Dodgers chairman Mark Walter, Magic Johnson and LA28's Casey Wasserman, with an initial commitment of up to $100 million. Funded the Archistar AI permit-approval tool free to local governments alongside Steadfast LA, Autodesk and Amazon, and routed $1.5 million through the California Fire Foundation to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles for Altadena rebuilds.
