PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — The Army Corps completed Eaton fire debris removal in Altadena roughly eight months after ignition and about four months ahead of schedule, signing off at Eliot Arts Magnet School.
Crews removed 1.4 million tons of debris from more than 5,600 private properties. Restoration then shifted to public sites including the Altadena Golf Course.
