Army Corps starts work on the last opt-in property in the Palisades

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — On August 26, 2025 the Army Corps began debris removal at the final opt-in private property in the Palisades fire recovery area.

Across the Palisades footprint the Corps removed over 1 million tons of debris from more than 3,500 properties, including more than 230 parcels along PCH. Phase 2 work for opt-in owners wrapped in September.
