PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — The Governor's office reported the CalAssist Mortgage Fund had awarded $39.4 million in mortgage relief to 1,155 households, with funds paid directly to mortgage servicers on behalf of homeowners.
More than 1,000 of those households were Los Angeles firestorm survivors. Eligible homeowners who have not applied should check the raised $211,050 income limit before assuming they do not qualify.
