PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — Southern California Edison began accepting claims on October 29, 2025 under its Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program, covering total and partial structure loss for owners and renters, commercial property loss, business interruption, smoke and ash, physical injury and fatalities.
Claims can be submitted until November 30, 2026, and SCE says offers average about 30 days after a substantially complete claim. Accepting an offer generally means releasing claims, so claimants should get legal advice first.
