PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — The Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades reopened to visitors on June 27, 2025 after a closure that began with the January fire.
The collection survived unharmed, but restoration required removing more than 1,300 fire-damaged trees and restoring building systems across the grounds. It was the first major Palisades cultural institution to return.
