County and city open relief funds for fire-hit small businesses and workers

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles announced the LA Region Small Business and Worker Relief Funds, offering up to $2,000 in direct cash to workers who lost income and $2,000 to $25,000 to small businesses and nonprofits with structural damage, equipment loss or revenue decline.

Applications opened February 6 in 14 languages. Business owners tracking recovery money should note this was the first of several county rounds.
