PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — The Board of Supervisors approved a motion by Supervisor Kathryn Barger reallocating $3 million from the county's Lead Paint Hazard Mitigation Program to pay for soil lead testing at intact properties inside the Eaton burn scar or within one mile downwind.
The program targeted owners who could not get testing covered by insurance or the federal cleanup. Public Health contracted certified labs to run the samples.
